This training manual is dedicated to analyzing the mechanisms for protecting the rights of refugees and asylum seekers at international and national levels. The book reveals the theoretical foundations for determining refugee status, the legal aspects of granting subsidiary protection, and the specific features of protecting the rights of this vulnerable category of migrants in the administrative and judicial bodies of Ukraine and the European Court of Human Rights. Particular attention is paid to the practical training of law clinic students to enable them to professionally advise refugees, analyze cases, and represent their interests.
