The manual "Fundamentals of Legal Clinical Practice" is dedicated to the implementation and functioning of the clinical education system at law faculties in Ukraine, specifically using the example of the "Alternatyva" legal clinic at Zakarpattia State University. The manual details the history of the establishment of legal clinics, their role in bridging the gap between theoretical "professorial law" and real legal practice, and provides methodological recommendations on professional ethics, management, record-keeping, and direct work with clients from interviewing to representing their interests in courts.

Key findings:

The authors emphasize that the effectiveness of such training is based on the combination of legal knowledge with an understanding of the psychological, cultural, and ethical aspects of a lawyer's work, as well as on adherence to the principles of the rule of law and confidentiality in relationships with clients.
