We sincerely congratulate our colleague, partner, and renowned public figure Myroslav Horvat on the successful defense of his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)! Research topic: "Peculiarities of the Inclusion of the Roma Ethnic Minority in the Socio-Political Life of Ukrainian Society (on the example of Zakarpattia Oblast)". Specialty: 052 "Political Science" (field of knowledge 05 "Social and Behavioral Sciences").
Why is this important?
For CAHR "Vested", this scientific success is of particular importance. Myroslav Horvat's research is a deep analysis of real processes taking place in our region. For the first time, the mechanisms of political participation of the Roma community have been studied at such a high scientific level. The work provides answers to questions on how to make our society more inclusive and democratic. It describes the long-standing experience of the development of the Roma movement and the contribution made by pro-Roma organizations in Zakarpattia. This is a great victory for the Roma community of Ukraine and an important contribution to the development of domestic political science. We are proud that people who combine practical experience with profound scientific knowledge work alongside us.
We wish Myroslav Horvat not to stop at what has been achieved! May this degree become a new stage for the implementation of even larger projects for the development of Zakarpattia and Ukraine. To new achievements, Doctor!
