About the Organization
Defending human rights and democracy in Zakarpattia since 1998
Who We Are
The non-governmental organization Carpathian Agency of Human Rights “VESTED” was founded in 1998. Since then, we have come a long way, becoming one of the leading human rights centers in the region.
We believe that a strong civil society is impossible without respect for the law and the rights of every individual. That is why our mission is to implement the principles of “good governance”, protect vulnerable groups, and develop local democracy through education, monitoring, and direct legal assistance.
